Here's a cool shot of someones version of a panda painted on the side of a freight train that I took a week or so ago.

C Rok
Here are a few shots of C Rok's first baseball game of the year. It was freezing cold and raining. He was playing first base, and the first ball of the game was hit to him and he fielded it cleanly, and ran over to the bag for the force out where he proceeded to do his happy dance. Someone got in the way of my picture, but I still wanted to include it here. Other pictures show him trying to keep warm over at first base as well as having fun, and then there are a couple of him at bat. It was a fun day, but we are looking forward to warm days of baseball!

First Game
Today was the kick-off to baseball season for the boys. Here are a couple pics of Big C in action. Tomorrow I will post some shots of his pitching debut. Today's pics show him making a play at third base and throwing to first, stealing home on a wild pitch, and getting beaned by a pitch while batting (you can see the ball in the lower right hand corner of the shot from after it had hit him).

Old CSX Car
I was excited for the opportunity to get back out today and possibly get some freight train graffiti pics. It's always a little hit-or-miss as you don't know if any cars are going to be laid up until you get there. Today, there weren't a lot, but what was there was excellent. My friend Greg joined me for the first time which was awesome, not to mention the fact it is always nice to have a buddy with you in that part of town. Almost always, the only cars I see down there are auto haulers. Today thankfully was something different. The car I'm posting today and the ones I will over the next couple days have definitely been in service for awhile, which gives them great character on their own. Some pretty good artistic work on top of that made it a very worthwhile trip.

Here are a few monikers from my last trip to the rail yard. Socal Spillproof is one of my favorites to get--not necessarily difficult, but still nice. This person has a nice flowing style and always dates and numbers their work. I have a pretty good collection of their work spanning a fair amount of time and number span.
