Rushmore

At the end of our youth group mission trip to Martin, South Dakota, we headed up to Mount Rushmore. Here are a couple of shots from the visit.

VBS Party

Our church's Vacation Bible School ended with a beach party. C-Rok was greatly disappointed to learn it wasn't actually taking place at a beach. A combination of popcorn, sno cones, tattoos, waterslides, and moonbounces left him pretty satisfied though.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Amanda (yesterday) and Brent (today). Here is where we first lived when we moved to Oklahoma in 1979. It was the first house Brent ever lived in (four short months). Could there have been a cooler place to live the few short years we lived at Fort Reno? That place was awesome. I pray birthday blessings for each of you, that this year may be your best. Since this is birthday number 27 for you Brent, it has to be good, seeing as that is the greatest number of all time. May God be with you both in all that you are and all that you do. May His love shine upon you and through you. I love you both more than you will ever know!

Camp

Here's a picture from a middle school church camp I was at a couple of weeks ago. It is an amazing camp in so many ways. It is awesome to spend a week at this camp and see how God is moving in so many people's lives.

I saw this van and wanted to take a picture of it, but at the same time, I didn't want to get shot. This was a quick shot from inside the car and drive off job. I also took one with the Holga, we will see how it turns out soon.

Matt and Betina

Here's our bestest friends Matt and Betina. They got to come home from China for awhile and hang out. It was great to see them. This shot was at night in our front yard with a blue flash on the Holga.

Tee Ball

C-Rok had his first tee ball game tonight. He rocked it out. He already has a sweet swing. I think he is ready for the big time. Love you C-Rok!

Red Flash

Here is something cool I saw in Arkansas recently. It was still daylight, and I used the red flash on my Holga as a fill.

Jana and Bethy

Here is our awesome friend Bethy with Jana. The only thing that could make her "more awesomer" would be a greater love of baseball and a little better taste in movies. Just joking Bethy, we love you!

Double Exposure

Here is a double exposure I took with my Holga. It will be fun to play around with multiple exposures and see what I can come up with.

Swimming

Here are some of my very first Holga pictures. It was exciting using the camera. After shooting a couple rolls and seeing the finished products, I liked some, and learned from others changes I will make in the future when using the Holga. I really like these pictures of the boys swimming. I think they turned out really well. I will post a few more of my first Holga shots in the next few days.
